Biography
Clare Glackin heads the Industrial Practice of Odgers Berndtson in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Her expertise lies in assisting Boards with CEO appointments. She advises FTSE and Fortune 500 businesses, ambitious start-ups, multi-generational family-businesses and private equity-backed companies.
Clare is a member of the Board Practice in London, a centre of excellence focused on supporting the Board as a whole, with knowledge, insight, and networks from across all sectors. She also chairs our global Industrial group which brings together practice heads for the Americas and for Asia, and the heads of our global Automotive, Aerospace and Defence, Transportation, Chemical Process and Mining and Minerals practices. The purpose of the group is to ensure quality and consistency and further increase the creativity, diversity, and professionalism of our search work for global clients.
Clare began her career in civil engineering, gaining experience working on major infrastructure projects as a Chartered Civil Engineer and then as a diplomat in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Clare graduated from the University of Cambridge and she has an MSc from Imperial College, London.
