In 2003, Pedro Nieto established Ellis & Partners in Spain, dedicated to retained executive search, focusing mainly on the Industrial, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Renewables, Institutional, Services and Consumer Products sectors, among others. Since 2008, the firm is a member of the international group of executive search companies Agilium Worldwide and since 2014 it is its Global Chairman. Likewise, he is a member of the Círculo de Empresarios, of the Board of Banco Lopez de Haro and Advisor to the President of Banco BDI. He has collaborated with IESE throughout these years in different seminars and talks that have been organized. Pedro holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Salamanca, Spain, and an MBA from IESE Business School. He held several positions in Prodesfarma (Almirall) and Boehringer Mannheim-Roche Diagnostics until he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Grupo Vita and later Managing Director of Salvat Laboratories.
