Biography
Marcus Kuhnert has extensive, generalist expertise in human resources management, with a focus on strategic and operational HR leadership. He has worked in industries such as renewable energy, food processing, FMCG/GFGH, and finance, successfully supporting companies of various sizes – from SMEs to international corporations. His core competencies include the development and implementation of HR strategies, the reorganization and management of HR departments, and the design of efficient HR processes. He has extensive experience in areas such as payroll, occupational pensions, and personnel development. He also has in-depth knowledge of labor law, the implementation of disciplinary measures, representation of company interests before labor courts, works council work, and conflict resolution. His projects include the introduction of digital HR tools, the migration of payroll to new systems, the modernization of HR structures within the HR Business Partner model, and the development of goal-setting systems and performance management processes. He has successfully redesigned HR structures and optimized processes in company start-ups, acquisitions, and business transfers. He is also adept at analyzing HR metrics, employer branding, active sourcing, and designing work-time models and health management. His experience also includes supporting change and merger processes and implementing shared service center structures. In addition to his practical experience, Mr. Kuhnert has trained as a “business psychologist” (IHK) in order to be able to resolve critical personnel situations even better. Since summer 2022, he has been successfully working as an interim HR manager for various national and international companies in different industries.
