Dr. Johannes Knewitz is a Consultant at NGS Global’s Frankfurt office. Dr. Knewitz has executed numerous Executive Search assignments for clients in Industrial, Technology, Automotive, FMCG and Infrastructure environments. Customers range from privately held “hidden champions” over state-owned companies to publicly listed Fortune Global 500 corporations. He passionately conducts highly demanding and complex projects, mainly as international and global searches. Dr. Knewitz is a profound resource on all topics related to technology, R&D, and all aspects of the ongoing Digital Transformation of physical environments where he has gathered both a deep understanding and a comprehensive network. He has successfully placed executives along the complete value chain up to General Management functions. Many of his latest assignments were related to the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), such as Digital Business Models, Robotics, Cybersecurity, Digital Thread, or Artificial Intelligence. Before joining NGS Global in 2014, Dr. Knewitz has conducted research on the impact of discourse patterns on political transformations. He headed a national student association, lived in the USA, Portugal and Brazil, and frequently volunteers as a trainer on democratic and European values for Eastern European youth. He holds a degree in History, Economics and Law and earned his doctorate in 2017 at the University of Mainz, Germany.
