Biography
Tineke Serlie (1967) has a master's degree in business administration from Nyenrode University, an MBA from Webster University and a postgraduate course in competition law from the University of London, King's College. Since 1992, Tineke has held positions at De Nationale Investeringsbank, later NIBC, for eight years. Here she focused, mainly as a senior account manager, on long-term corporate financing of transport companies in order to realize growth and acquisition plans. In 2000 she made the switch to PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting, later IBM, where she advised companies in the financial sector and the government on (re)calibrating strategic plans and their implementation for seven years, including as a Managing Strategy Consultant. During this period Tineke had an additional position as a member of the Supervisory Board of a local Rabobank. In the period 2007-2017 Tineke worked as an external supervisor at the NMa, later ACM. For 8 years she worked as an external supervisor for the healthcare sector, leading a unit that exercises national supervision of healthcare by assessing healthcare mergers and collaboration plans and realizing targeted guidance as a solution to specific supervisory questions. Building a constructive network with directors of healthcare providers, health insurers and industry associations was important for Tineke in order to shape effective supervision. Within TEN, healthcare has its specific focus. Tineke is a positive, driven and involved person. Discussion partner at all levels with an interest in and curiosity about what drives people and what gives them energy. Her work experience in various work environments, sectors and in both internal and external supervision enables Tineke to look beyond sectors and perceived, sometimes unnecessary (mental) boundaries. She believes that the complementary bringing together of substantive knowledge, experiences and necessary skills that the current time and strongly changing context require is key for an optimal mix of administrative leadership. Tineke is intrinsically motivated to make a suitable match between a director or internal supervisor and what the organization is specifically looking for and needs.
