He started his career at DEC and went on to work at Compaq and HP. He has held various management and senior management positions at local, European and global level. He successfully reorganized a listed medium-sized software company . He then took over responsibility for the indirect partner business in EMEA (Tier II) as Vice President at CA (Computer Associates) and built up the online consumer business for CA outside the USA. He then became Managing Director and member of the Executive Board at the SAP consulting company Cirrus Consulting, which was successfully transferred to Swisscom in 2011 IT Services was sold.
