Will conducts general management and director level searches, mainly focusing on Chinese multinationals expanding in Europe and on European multinationals growing in Asia. He works across various business sectors, with a focus on industry, technology, and business services. Will has 12 years’ experience working in the car industry in China and Europe. He started as an engineer in Shanghai General Motors and then moved to business development for Car Suppliers, which specialised in materials, infotainment and mobility. Prior to joining Eric Salmon & Partners, Will was working for APTIV, an American group specialising in autonomous driving solutions, where he was the first China Sales Director responsible for all related OEM customers. His last role was to lead all commercial activities between Europe and China. Will is a Chinese native and holds both Master and Bachelor’s degrees from Jilin University.
