Frank Scala is a partner Marcum’s Assurance Services Group, with expertise that goes further than traditional areas of accounting, as he is a strategic planner and trusted business advisor for his clients. Throughout his 35 years of experience in public accounting, he specializes in financial, tax and consulting services for clientele in industries including construction, transportation, manufacturing, real estate, not-for-profit, import/export, and wholesale/distribution. Mr. Scala takes an active role in his clients’ bonding and financing programs, earning an outstanding reputation and extensive relationships within the surety and banking communities. Mr. Scala also has extensive experience in forensic accounting, contractor claims, and shareholder dispute resolution services. A recognized expert, Mr. Scala is a frequent lecturer to financial institutions and sureties on current construction accounting topics and trends and has also been named as one of the “Ones to Watch in Accounting” by Long Island Business News. An active participant in community, Mr. Scala is involved with Contractors For Kids and the Wounded Warrior Project. He also dedicates his time to coaching and training youth baseball players in the North Patchogue Medford Youth Athletic Club (NPMYAC). Mr. Scala came to Marcum after the Firm joined forces with Castellano, Korenberg & Company in 2020.
