Steve Goering is a Partner and leader of the Financial Services Practice Group with Kensington International. Steve leads engagements within Asset Management, Wealth Management, Real Estate, and Fintech. His functional expertise is in Advertising and Marketing, Sales and Distribution, Investment Management, Product Development, and Strategy. Steve has over 20 years of executive search experience recruiting senior executives within a select group of large cap, privately held middle market and private equity – owned companies within a diversified industry group that includes Distribution, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and Supply Chain. Prior to joining Kensington International, Steve started his career as a Research Associate at a global retained executive search firm where he became Director of Strategic Accounts and executed multiple C-Suite and Board of Director assignments across multiple industry segments. In 2008 Steve helped found The Laramie Group – a wholly owned subsidiary of Kensington International – which has since been folded into Kensington. Steve is a graduate of Miami University (Ohio), where he received his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication and Effectiveness. Steve resides in Glencoe, IL with his wife and two children.
