Noriko Watanabe is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Tokyo office and a member of the Industrial Practice.

Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Noriko was a senior consultant at a Japanese executive search company and member of the Amrop Group. As a trusted advisor to many CEOs at Japanese companies, Noriko conducted top executive searches in various sectors, and also led cross-border searches, particularly in Asia.

Before that, Noriko worked for Toyota Tsusho Corporation for 18 years. She mainly focused on the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) field and accumulated extensive knowledge and experience in the marketing and supply chain management sectors. Noriko also spent a substantial amount of time in China, where she successfully set up joint ventures (JVs) in Beijing.
