He has worked with clients in a wide variety of professional services industries including life sciences and biotechnology, manufacturing, distribution, software tehnology, construction contractors and real estate. Mr Buchheit’s expertise includes identifying and addressing complex accounting and auditing issues, advising clients on unique financial reporting and internal control issues surrounding private and publicly-traded entities. Mr Buchheit also possesses substantial niche experience in auditing Qualified Employee Benefit Plans, including Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP), and understands the compliance requirements of Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). He routinely suggests practical internal control recommendations, performs technical research, suggests accounting system design and implementation, and performs technical quality reviews.
