Deanna Irizarry is a Senior Associate in the Higher Education Practice. With over 15 years of recruiting experience in the consulting, FMCG, and FinTech sectors, she joined Buffkin/Baker in 2024 as an Associate in the Healthcare Practice. Originally from Philadelphia, she earned a degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Her passion for helping others has guided her career in recruitment. Having lived along the East Coast, in the Midwest, in Costa Rica, and recently in Shanghai, China, Deanna now resides in the Nashville area with her husband and son. She enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures through food, as well as indulging in history, reading, and entertaining family and friends at home.
