David joined ZRG Partners to establish the firm’s operations in Australia. In addition to his leadership responsibilities David is an accomplished Executive Search professional with over 25 years of experience servicing clients across the Financial Services and Infrastructure sectors. David has a track record of advising clients on their key human capital strategies and calibrating this to their specific need for contemporary skills and capabilities. David is one of the most respected and long tenured market participants in Australia and he enjoys working closely with organizations who are being disrupted to assist them secure the talent that will enable their transformation and continued market relevance. David has completed searches across the entire C-Suite and is a trusted advisor to Boards who are seeking to guide their organizations through an increasingly complex global landscape. Prior to joining ZRG, David gained a wealth of experience in both boutique and global firms. David served as the lead Financial Services Partner at Heidrick & Struggles in Australia, where he was responsible for developing the strategy for the sector including identifying growth opportunities for the practice in specific segments. David also had primary responsibility for developing and managing the firm’s largest Financial Services account in Australia and the region. Prior to this David ran his own boutique firm that was acquired by Heidrick & Struggles and served as an Executive Director of a firm that successfully listed on the ASX. David’s areas of expertise are focused in Financial Services, Asset Management & the broader Infrastructure landscape. David has successfully completed search mandates within financial services across most specialist areas and has evolved his expertise with the market to include data and analytics, artificial intelligence and other roles within the operational and regulatory landscape. David has also worked extensively with Infrastructure Asset Managers securing C-Suite executives for the portfolio companies of his clients. David holds a Bachelor of Economics degree. In David’s free time he enjoys wine, sports cars and sailing.
