As a certified restructuring and reorganization consultant, he works on behalf of shareholders or insolvency administrators for companies, usually in critical situations, to help them achieve a turnaround. Mr. von Spee has more than 10 years of experience as an implementation and management consultant in international medium-sized manufacturing companies. In these mostly owner-managed businesses, he uses his expertise to balance the interests of diverse stakeholders – even across generations. Challenging and supporting the company's people on the path to lasting success is always at the heart of his leadership and consulting work. His clients benefit from his extensive network and his instinct for connecting the right contacts. Previously, he held responsible and management positions in the paper production and finishing, mechanical and plant engineering, and metal processing and finishing industries for over 20 years. His areas of expertise included change management, restructuring, implementation and upgrade of ERP systems, securing liquidity, establishing and implementing controlling, reporting, cost accounting and bookkeeping, M&A processes, internal consulting for shareholders and managing directors, and more. Mr. von Spee studied business administration with a focus on industrial engineering in the dual system at the Hamburg Business Academy (WAH). He keeps himself up-to-date with certifications as a Restructuring & Restructuring Consultant (SRH/IfUS Institute) and an EFQM Excellence Assessor (ILEP), as well as other continuing education courses.
