Over the past 5 years, James has specialised in searches for C-suite and finance professionals for Venture Capital baked businesses and high growth SME’s. His knowledge of the market has helped him build a strong track record of sourcing the best talent for crucial hires within the start-up space, through a range of industries. James studied English Literature at Sussex University, before joining a boutique search firm where he successfully ran and grew the Technology, Media and Telecoms desk. Following this, James Co-ran another boutique search firm, where the focus was on senior Finance hires for high growth start-up businesses. James joined Altus Portfolio Practice to expand Altus Partners coverage in Venture Capital-backed businesses. ​Outside of work you can find James enjoying a sunny beer garden or at Stamford Bridge watching his beloved Chelsea FC.
