Elizabeth “Liz” Bernich is a partner in Caldwell’s Financial Services and Private Equity and Venture Capital practices. ​ With over 15 years of search experience, she has led senior level searches across a diverse set of roles in investments, finance, marketing, and investor relations for clients that span private equity, alternative and traditional investment management, insurance, investment banking, capital markets, technology and real estate. ​ Liz has successfully led a multitude of searches for clients seeking to expand geographically as well as into new product/specialization markets. The combination of a robust targeted research process in combination with enhanced personality assessment has allowed for an exceptional track record of success for her clients. Having joined the search industry in 1996, Liz has played a variety of roles across the company during her tenure. In addition to her search responsibilities, she previously served as chief operating/financial officer of Cromwell Partners, which was acquired by Caldwell in 2009. Experience Prior to joining the firm, Liz was an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, focusing on multi-faceted, global clients such as Marsh & McLennan and Sotheby’s. Education She graduated from Villanova University cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in accounting and holds her CPA certification. ​
