Carol Morganstern is an award-winning member of our Partner Practice Group, working in both our San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. Carol works exclusively with top-level candidates, groups and firms looking for merger partners to help identify the right law firm that will allow them to expand their practices, maximize benefits for their clients and reach their full career potential. She is constantly in the market speaking with law firms to understand each firm's unique value proposition offered to lateral candidates and identify the right talent for those clients. With this approach, she is confident she is providing the highest level of service to both candidates and clients. In addition to working with law firm partners and groups, Carol works closely with high-level candidates moving out of government agencies, including the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Securities Exchange Commission and the Federal Trade Commission, successfully placing these candidates into law firms in the Bay Area. After over a decade in San Francisco, Carol recently moved to Mill Valley, giving her son the classic San Francisco gift for his fifth birthday—a house in Marin. Outside of work, Carol enjoys cooking, entertaining and spending time with family and friends. As a native of the Peninsula, she is lucky to have a life filled with extended family and many close friends nearby. On weekends, Carol and her family escape to Carmel Valley whenever life permits. Carol’s husband is an accomplished banjo player, but she loves him anyway.
