I graduated from the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994. I worked in rural practice surveying and auctioneering in the West of England for 5 years, then spent 10 years in the City of London trading futures, options and equities for institutions and funds. I relocated to Dubai in 2006 with my wife and two daughters to recruit in the Real Estate Sector for Macdonald & Company. I took over the management of the Dubai Office and MENA region in 2010 until returning to the M&C Head Office in London in 2016. I am now involved with all aspects of search and selection for major developers, property companies and investment institutions in the UK. I have placed many senior level individuals with a wide variety of clients. I am committed to outstanding client and candidate service and to building long term relationships. I enjoy meeting a wide variety of people in the real estate sector and advising candidates and clients on career changing and business critical decisions. I have excellent knowledge of the property market and development and investment process, and a good understanding of macro-economics and financial markets. I have travelled extensively around the MENA region and honed business skills dealing in emerging markets. I am an accomplished pianist/entertainer/church music leader and composer, as well as enjoying triathlon, ski-ing, riding and hunting. I also run music and sport activities with a local youth club.
