I started my career in manufacturing in 1995 as a Product Specialist with SK Hand Tool Corporation, the US subsidiary of Facom Tools Group, Europe’s largest professional tool manufacturer. During those 15 years, I grew within the organization undertaking roles of increasing responsibility within sales, marketing and management as Regional Sales Manager, Director of Sales, and ultimately Executive Vice President. Over the course of my tenure at SK Hand Tool Corporation, I was fortunate to travel the country and world to work with professionals who used tools in industrial, automotive and military applications. One thing that I learned through my travels and from my tool industry experience is that it’s impossible to do a job well without the right tools. Within manufacturing or in any industry for that matter, it’s impossible to be successful without the right people. It’s this spirit which led to the founding of M-Works Search in 2010, seeing an opportunity to build a successful business by connecting the right manufacturing and engineering professionals with the right companies in the manufacturing and engineering services industries. Coming from a mid-market manufacturing environment, I noticed the challenges we faced attracting top talent. It was this opportunity which led to the creation of M-Works Search. It’s an opportunity and spirit we still recognize today and upon which we are building at M-Works Search as we work to identify the best manufacturing professionals.
