Heike Schoon-Pernkopf

Heike Schoon-Pernkopf joined LAB & Company in Düsseldorf in October 2017.

She has over 15 years of professional experience in the energy industry. As an attorney for energy and antitrust law at an international law firm, she initially supported many energy suppliers in realigning themselves to the liberalisation of the energy markets, particularly with regard to regulatory issues. She subsequently held various management positions at RheinEnergie AG in Cologne.

Before joining LAB & Company, Heike Schoon-Pernkopf headed the representation of SMEs at the Federal Association of Energy and Water Management (BDEW) in Berlin, where she represented the interests of medium-sized energy and water companies for seven years. Thanks to her experience and perspectives, Heike Schoon-Pernkopf is an expert on the ever-changing energy and municipal industry. She knows how to transform the challenges that companies are facing, particularly the increasing complexity within the energy industry, into requirement profiles for management personnel. Her consulting style is characterised by intuition, the necessary tact and, at the same time, open communication. Heike Schoon-Pernkopf maintains a long-standing, trusting network with many decision-makers in the industry and is experienced in working with committees. Heike Schoon-Pernkopf likes to spend her free time doing sports and socializing with family and friends in the mountains or at her old home, by the North Sea.
