I began my professional journey with a Science degree and a career as a biochemist, before following my passion for law. While working at a top-tier legal firm, I completed my legal studies and was later admitted as a Barrister. I then moved into an in-house legal role at a leading financial institution. In both positions, my primary areas of practice included dispute resolution, litigation, and insurance law. I was also responsible for delivering staff training on relevant legislation and building strong relationships with law firms across Queensland. This diverse background provides a solid foundation for my current role in legal recruitment. My experience as a lawyer enables me to take a more consultative and tailored approach—matching candidates and clients not just by skills, but by cultural fit. I spent nearly five years with empire group before moving in-house to recruit for a national top-tier legal firm. In 2024, I returned to empire as a Partner – National Legal Manager, excited to lead and grow our Legal team, and to continue driving excellence in the legal recruitment space.
