Lutz joined Eric Salmon & Partners in October 2013 in the Frankfurt office.
He specialises in electronics, communication systems and services, software, information technology and computing. His clients include major telecommunication operators and service providers, internet service providers, software solution developers and one of the largest European ICT firms.

He also focuses on search for senior human resources positions, for a wide range of clients in the manufacturing, consumer goods and retail industries in Germany and abroad.

Before joining Eric Salmon Lutz was a Partner for nearly 14 years with a leading global executive search firm, whose information technology and telecommunications business he helped to build.

Lutz has a deep and practical knowledge of global communications and information technology. He served in the telecommunications and electronic reconnaissance sector of the German Army for 12 years, rising to the ranks of Company Commander and Captain.

Lutz also served as a member of the trustees’ board of the CIOFORUM, one of the leading associations for CIOs and IT directors in German speaking countries. In 2012, CIOFORUM merged with CIO-Circle and CIOcolloquium to form VOICE e.V.

Lutz studied business administration at the Helmut-Schmidt-University in Hamburg.
