William joined Privatal after working as an Associate Consultant in London for a niche recruitment firm. He focussed on identifying the best talent for businesses who were currently or planning to undergo major business or technology change and transformation. William worked with a range of clients, including Tier 1 Banks to Magic-Circle Law firms, giving him a great understanding of the corporate world. William studied at Leeds Beckett University, where he achieved a Master of Science and 1st Class Degree in Sports Business Management. Alongside this, he is always looking to develop his skills and knowledge by investing time in both personal and professional training and development opportunities. ​ William has an extensive network and strong relationships with which he leverages as part of our M&A team: partnering with PE investors to fill portfolio M&A + Integration positions. Outside work, William was formally a semi-professional rugby player but has stopped playing and now focusses on keeping his golf handicap as low as possible.
