Merijn van Oijen has been active in the Executive Search industry since 2002 and is the European Managing Partner at Christian & Timbers. Early in his career he was responsible for the delivery of international and global assignments at Spencer Stuart and Korn/Ferry. Later, he was responsible for the development of the Executive Search division at a large boutique firm in Amsterdam before setting up the Dutch office of another global executive search firm. Merijn speaks multiple languages and has successfully concluded 100s of mandates across 5 continents. He has managed leadership assignments across various industries such as technology, industry 4.0 and the sustainability transition with a strong focus on PE/VC backed growth companies. At a personal level, Merijn has been part of the Dutch national rowing team competing at the Sydney Olympics and is a former world record holder.
