Kent is deeply rooted in real estate. He began his career in CRE right out of college when he interned for Jana Turner at the Koll Company in 1993. He grew into a leasing and property management role and later spent more than five years at CBRE as a Managing Director for Strategic Accounts working with several national pension fund advisor clients. He founded RETS in 2002 and was later joined by Jana in 2008. Kent survives the ever-active CRE industry running on black coffee, dedication and inspiration from extraordinary clients, friends and family members. When he’s not at the office, you can find him on a baseball field with his son, at the dance studio or gymnastics gym with his daughters, carpooling kids, practicing yoga or on the quest for the next great restaurant. Kent’s favorite thing about his career in recruiting is partnering with companies to build the best teams possible. He is energized by meeting new people every day and thrives on staying in touch with thousands of real estate professionals across the nation. Kent’s guiding literature is Harvey Mackay’s Swim with the Sharks without Being Eaten Alive. He believes in waking up, kicking a**, being kind and repeating. He currently serves as a board member for Harbor Day School in Corona del Mar and resides in Newport Beach, California, with his wife, Aimee, their twin daughters Ava and Chloe, and son, Johnny.
