Angela Hardesty is a partner in our Phoenix Office and has over 25 years in a variety of technical and management roles within the healthcare information management and technology field. Angela is primarily responsible for recruiting and business development activities for our national healthcare practice. Angela’s emphasis is advising and aligning our service delivery for healthcare clients in pivotal transitions. As a lifelong HIM professional and consultant, she possesses expertise in HIPAA, HiTECH, CMS regulations, revenue cycle, process improvement, compliance and has served as transformation agent for her employers and clients. Prior to joining Hardesty LLC, Angela acquired her expertise by leading healthcare technology implementations and integrations in both vendor and client roles. She has significant project management and implementation experience in large scale healthcare IT systems including Cerner, Athena, McKesson, Siemens, 3M, Optum, and Nuance. She possesses a discerning perspective to what solutions are critical to create successful holistic HIT implementations. Fluency in multiple healthcare software solutions, including EHR, revenue cycle, health information management, or biomedical device integration. Angela spent most of her career in acute hospital and ambulatory settings and has a genuine understanding of the needs and priorities of healthcare clinicians and leaders. She is a credentialed Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), an active professional with HIMSS and HFMA and has BS from University of Kansas in Health Information Management.
