Martin Fahnauer joined Signium in March 2021 after 10 years’ experience within the financial services industry. After his studies in International Business in Maastricht, he started his career in the Wealth Management division of UBS Deutschland AG, followed by almost 9 years of management and strategy consulting; most recently as a Senior Manager in KPMG’s FS practice Strategy & Management Consulting. Martin led engagements focusing on strategic issues such as defining digitization strategies, target operating models, as well as defining the transformation roadmaps behind the underlying strategies. In addition to his core role, he was actively evolved in corporate development topics – namely key account management and recruiting. In these activities, interviewing candidates and hosting assessment center days played a crucial part. His role as line manager enabled him to guide and coach consultants. Since starting with Signium, Martin focusses on communication and process strength while delivering tailor-made solutions to his Financial and Professional Services clients. He relies on his consulting capabilities, his market and industry know how, as well as his expertise with respect to strategy, digitization and transformation topics. Martin grew up in an international environment and is fluent in German and English. He is married and a father of 3 kids. In his free time, he plays golf and tennis.
