I'm a born-and bred Wellingtonian. After completing a BA and a postgrad diploma in journalism, I became a reporter for five years, covering everything from front-page news to cats up trees. Looking for a career change, I headed to London for what was meant to be a two-year OE. Five years later, having got married, travelled the world and fallen into recruitment, I'm enjoying working in my home town again! We spend so much of our lives in the workplace. Working to find the right person the right job can change their life, and change the direction of the organisation they join. Making those connections is what I enjoy most about recruitment.
