Barbara is a global headhunter with the African continent’s largest executive search firm. She has spent her career constantly seeking to perfect her craft and is recognised as the go-to person for challenging leadership roles across all industry sectors and multiple geographies. She thrives on digging deep to find those rare gems who enhance clients’ productivity and brands, is fulfilled by catalysing careers and is still excited by finding “The One”! Barbara is currently focussing on a project identifying a leadership team to accelerate financial inclusion on the African continent for one of the world’s most impactful philanthropic organisations, and regards this as the epitome of her career – until the next challenge comes along, of course! Her greatest achievement, though, has been chasing and making her dream of living a quiet rural life a reality. She lives and works from a farm overlooking the Outeniqua Mountains on the beautiful Garden Route area of South Africa – a life that inspires and feeds her soul.
