Biography
Bill is a co-founder of BraddockMatthews. Having spent more than five years as a senior partner at HigdonBraddockMatthews and five years at Conley & Co., Bill spends the significant majority of his time working with private equity clients, and has extensive experience recruiting senior investment professionals and non-investment professionals (including roles in investor relations, legal, finance and business development) for some of the foremost firms. His clients include managers at all stages of principal investing, and Bill has worked with a variety of firms that are active in the private equity marketplace, including placement agents, and private equity investors (e.g. fund of funds, endowments and foundations). Prior to joining the firm, Bill was a Managing Director at Conley & Company, where for four years he directed the firm's Alternative Asset search activities. Earlier in his career, Bill worked for nearly a decade as a lawyer and investment banker in Boston. He practiced commercial litigation at several firms, including Goodwin Procter, and worked as an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice group at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey. Bill holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin. Bill serves on the Board of a number of charitable and community organizations, including the local chapter of the JDRF, and is active with various alumni committees of Yale and St. Paul's School in Concord, New Hampshire.
