Sarah Burke is a Consultant within the Oil & Gas Practice. She manages search-led senior leadership and technical expert appointments globally. Sarah has gained more than 15 years’ experience within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors. Having previously worked for Odgers Berndtson from 2008 to 2012, she returned in 2024 bringing significant in-house Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leadership experience with her. Her career includes eight years in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition leadership roles for a major Energy company, Eni, and two years as European Talent Acquisition Manager for a global Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) provider, CB&I (now McDermott International). At the start of her career, Sarah was a Wireline Field Engineer for oilfield services firm, Schlumberger, based in Alberta, Canada. Sarah has a BSc (Hons) in Geology. She is a Member of the Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB), the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and the Energy Institute (EI).
