Stephen Provost co-founded Prestige Scientific in 2001 to address a critical gap in executive recruitment within the Life Sciences industry. With a commitment to integrity and precision, he has helped biotechnology companies—from venture-backed startups to publicly traded companies—secure top-tier talent at all levels, from scientists to CEOs and Board members. With over two decades of experience, Stephen has led Prestige Scientific in completing over 1,100 searches across 21 states and 13 countries, partnering with more than 265 companies. His consultative, hands-on approach to retained executive search has earned the trust of investors, founders, and executive teams. He has successfully led searches across the C-suite and Board, as well as key leadership roles in R&D, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and commercial strategy. Earlier in his career, Stephen was a top-performing Search Consultant at a national executive search firm, where he was handpicked by the CEO to lead the Boston office. Under his leadership, the region became one of the firm’s top two divisions before its acquisition by private equity. Originally from Massachusetts, Stephen now lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife and four children. Outside of work, he is actively involved in charitable organizations, enjoys spending time with family, and takes every opportunity to fish in the Gulf Stream.
