Mathias Herrmann

Mathias has joined Alexander Hughes in August 2021 as a Senior Advisor.

Following a career as an Executive Comittee Member in an automotive related financial services company, his focus with Alexander Hughes lies on C-level executives roles, Board Services and Client-Fit Assessment Services.

In his last position he was responsible for the global Risk Management covering a growing portfolio of a 130 billion Euros in 40 countries, while performing as a Supervisory Board member in regulated E-banking and Insurance companies in Luxembourg and Germany. His responsibilities as a Risk Manager covered compliance, policy and procedures in credit operations, portfolio-management as well as automated credit scoring and provisioning. Prior to that he was the CEO of the banking and fleet management activities in France.

His education includes a BA in Economics and Computer Science, a MBA from Thunderbird, as well as a certification in Systems Auditing. His strong interest in the development of people and organizations is underlined by his certification in Systemic Coaching and Organizational Development.

Mathias speaks English and French. He loves to swim, run and bike and re-fuels with regular Yoga and Meditation.
