Richard supports many of the leading Big Law firms in the US with strategic hiring, primarily across transactional practice groups.
With over eight years of recruitment experience placing lawyers at all levels with global law firms across the US, UK, and EU markets, he brings in-depth market knowledge and an intuitive understanding of client needs. He is well positioned to advise candidates throughout the arc of their careers, understanding the nuances and key inflection points at each stage of development and progression.

Prior to joining Pure Search, Richard developed the German desk at one of London’s leading legal search firms and held a Partner search-focused role in the city.

Outside of work, Richard enjoys exploring new cultures through travel and cuisine, and discovering local food scenes. He also stays active through hiking, running, swimming, and padel, and takes a keen interest in geopolitics.
