Serena began her search career with Heidrick & Struggles in Australia. Following a successful three years in Sydney working on C–level search assignments, she then moved to the United Kingdom where she broadened her executive search experience across Europe.

During her five years based in London, Serena worked with both a boutique Executive Search firm supporting technology and media clients and also an international search firm placing senior executives for venture capital and private equity backed technology and digital businesses. Serena consults to Bennelong on specific assignments where she can leverage her deep digital and technology knowledge and her broad network of senior executives across Australia and Europe.
