Vanessa is a Partner at Johnson Partners, where she leads the Public Sector Practice and the CFO Practice within Financial Services. Vanessa brings over 15 years of executive search experience within the financial services and public sectors. Working across both sectors, Vanessa brings a particularly deep specialisation in the areas of finance and commercial leadership, strategy, infrastructure and asset management. Prior to Johnson Partners, Vanessa was responsible for building the CFO and Public Sector practice at Boyden, successfully appointing CEOs, CFOs and other leadership roles across NSW state government agencies, major Australian financial services providers, fintechs and industry bodies. Vanessa has previously been a Chief Operating Officer and Practice Leader for two leading selection businesses within the Australian market, with a focus on securing talent for finance leadership roles within the financial services and public sectors. Prior to entering executive search and selection, Vanessa was a Manager with KPMG, having spent time in the firm’s Sydney and London offices, specialising in Transactions Services advisory. She is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
