Charles has been a central member of the team at Altus Partners since inception, and during this time has developed an impressive network across both asset managers and alternative investment firms. After graduating from Oxford University with a degree in Classics, Charles began his career in the investment management industry, interning at Cazenove Capital Management, and subsequently joining the private debt fund Beechbrook Capital in an Investor Relations and Fund-Raising role. He spent almost four years with the firm, and had a crucial involvement in raising their first fund. He subsequently left to join Altus Partners in 2012, where he has been able to leverage his experience on the buy-side to understand better and assist his clients and candidates. Charles was part of the team that won Acquisition Internationals ‘Best Buyside Executive Search Firm’ award in 2019 and 2020, respectively. Outside of work, Charles has a passion for art and is a regular exhibition-goer. He is also an avid reader, especially of history and literature, an enthusiastic but haphazard dinner-party host, and a keen armchair cricketer.
