Wendy Flynn is a consultant in Caldwell’s San Francisco office and a key member of the firm’s Legal Practice. Her search practice focuses on the recruitment of executive level attorneys; primarily general counsels, chief legal officers, chief compliance officers and chief privacy officers. Wendy is primarily responsible for developing research strategy, identifying and evaluating candidates, and managing and executing the search process. With over 10 years of experience assessing top legal talent, she has a keen sense of the strategic importance of having the right corporate legal team and the unique capabilities that create enterprise value and risk protection. Wendy represents traditional and emerging companies in building their legal and compliance departments. She also represents national law firms and prominent regional firms in their strategic partner hiring. In addition to the Legal Practice, her functional experience includes search assignments for boards of directors and chief compliance officers. She has completed senior level search assignments in a range of industries including professional services, technology, healthcare, life sciences, consumer products, financial services, media, real estate and defense. Experience Before joining Caldwell, Wendy was a member of the Global Legal, Risk & Compliance Practice of Heidrick & Struggles, where she served as the associate practice director. She began her executive search career with Highland Partners in 2000.
