Vic Ippolito has been a senior leader on the Healthcare & Life Sciences team at Solomon Page since 1992. Based in San Diego, Vic’s 25+ years in executive search have been entirely focused on healthcare, employee benefits, and human resources. His primary responsibilities include client management and taking a hands-on approach to leading search engagements. Solomon Page has made its mark in retained executive search by effectively recruiting senior-level executives for national payors, integrated delivery systems, managed care vendors, medical groups, insurance companies, consulting firms, and pharmaceutical firms. While the foundation of his search practice has been working with consulting firms, Vic has extensive experience leading searches for leadership positions within HMOs/PPOs, outsourcing organizations, Taft-Hartley welfare funds, and healthcare systems vendors. Most of Vic’s searches focus on positions that own and drive revenue. As technology and innovation continue to shape the employee benefits industry, Vic has led several searches for start-up and high-growth organizations, including Buoy Health, One Medical, Digital Insurance, Extend Health, Consumer Medical, 2nd.MD, Imagine360, Canopy Health, Employer Direct, Access Hope, Personify, Form Health, and Gravie. Prior to joining Solomon Page, Vic was a lead consultant at a 15-member executive search firm. He directed and assisted with various search engagements in the employee benefits, managed care, risk management, and financial services sectors. Vic led efforts to build the firm’s database and, before being promoted, served as the firm’s research director. Vic holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with an emphasis in business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. There, he served on the Alumni Board, overseeing the college’s 10 alumni chapters nationwide, and, along with his wife, was a member of the Parents’ Council. He has also served on the Board of Directors of a San Diego-based community theatre organization.
