Virginia native, Mary, joined the firm in 2013 and has been the lead researcher in the New York office since 2015. After beginning her career in retail – first, in sales and later, as a buyer – Mary moved to New York in 2003 and joined a boutique private equity firm on Wall Street as the assistant to the president. She discovered a love of and aptitude for industry research. Mary loves the challenge of learning new industries and seeing how her contributions make a difference to the team. Another of her passions is conservation. Her parents taught her the importance of protecting the land, and she still volunteers her time to help keep her local state parks clean. Mary graduated from Old Dominion University with a degree in psychology.
