Lawrence (Larry) Krema has more than 20 years of human resources leadership and recruitment experience; and serves as a trusted advisor to senior executives and boards on talent, leadership development, succession planning, and culture. Larry previously served as a Managing Director with FPL Advisory Group, performing global C-suite searches for real estate and hospitality companies. Before that, he was Global CHRO and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Simon Property Group, a leader in retail real estate and an S&P 100 company. Larry began his human resources career with leadership positions at Macy's, The Limited, and Lbrands. He then joined NEC Corporation, where he ultimately led the HR division for the Americas. He then served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Equity Office Properties Trust; and Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Lawson Products. Larry received his bachelor's degree from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, TX, and attended Texas A&M University for an MBA. He is actively involved in various industry and professional organizations, as well as a number of philanthropic organizations. Larry is a Chicago sports fan and a running enthusiast. He and his wife, Julie, reside just outside of Chicago with their three children.
