Flavio Pestana is the CEO and Partner within the Media, Entertainment & Publishing, Sports and Education Practices of Odgers Berndtson's Sao Paulo office.

He has a Bachelor degree in civil engineering from the Mauá School of Engineering, a Postgraduate degree in finance from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and management courses at Harvard Business School, INSEAD / FDC and Singularity University. He worked for 30 years in the communications sector where he was Managing Director of Grupo Folha, CEO of Valor Econômico, Gazeta Mercantil and Rede Bom Dia de Comunicações, a Partner at CDN (Companhia de Notícias) and an Executive Director of Grupo Estado.

He is a board member certified by the IBGC and was a board member of UOL, National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (CONAR), Executive Council of Standard Standards (CENP) and National Association of Newspapers (ANJ).
