Andrew specialises in tailored executive search solutions and contingency selection for small to large businesses operating internationally within the engineering and construction sectors. He joined CSG in Melbourne in 2021, tasked with helping to develop the group’s Melbourne office and build an expert local function with a global presence. Having studied Engineering at university in Aberdeen, Andrew has strong expertise and understanding of the construction industry. He is passionate about complex engineering projects and supporting businesses to develop these through the hire of exceptional talent. He has developed recruitment expertise across several sectors of the market including civil construction, transport infrastructure, marine, aviation, building services, mining & exploration, dams & water, digital, and software development. Prior to a career in recruitment Andrew worked in a QHSE advisory role within the UK’s oil and gas industry, for an OEG offshore company focused on the supply of helicopter refuelling services in the UK North Sea, among various other engineering services. Through his exposure in this role, Andrew has gained effective industry insights and knowledge of professional engineering and construction services. Andrew has significant experience leading search assignments, either retained or contingency, for engineering consulting, project management, operational and leadership positions ranging from junior design engineer to executive level.
