Janette Martinez joined Isaacson, Miller as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Janette worked with Excelencia in Education as a Senior Policy and Research Analyst where she focused on federal policy and effective institutional practices to accelerate Latino student success. In that role, Janette worked with policymakers, Capitol Hill staff, and institutional practitioners to inform policy recommendations to support Latino students. Previously, she was a Policy Analyst at Education Reform now, focusing on K-12 and higher education policy. Janette began her career in education equity as a Sixth Grade English Teacher at YES Prep Public Schools in Houston, Texas.
