Mr. Powell advises private equity funds and alternative asset managers on enhancing portfolio company value through improved leadership and talent strategy. He works with investors pre- and post-close to assess leadership teams, and helps align investment strategy with execution through the identification of fit-for-purpose talent at the Chairman, Non-Executive Director and C-suite level. In addition to portfolio company work, Mr. Powell has been active in recruiting Operating Partners for private equity firms.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Powell worked for an executive search firm based in London. He previously helped to grow the firm's New York office, working with hedge funds, investment banks, public corporations and private equity clients.

Mr. Powell holds a first class honours degree in Psychology from the University of Edinburgh and is a published author on the topics of human cognition and emotion.
