Dr. Andreas Newzella grew up in Austria, Germany, and Indonesia. He studied business administration with a focus on marketing and retail at the University of Münster. In 1994, he trained as a pharmaceutical sales representative in Cologne and wrote his thesis on the generics market in 1996. Between 1999 and 2001, he earned his doctorate from the Vienna University of Economics and Business at the Institute for Retail and Marketing, focusing on pharmaceutical wholesale and pharmacies. He is also a member of the Human Resources Consulting Association of the Federal Association of German Management Consultants, based in Bonn.
