Sara brings to executive search more than a decade of experience on the operations and strategic side of higher education advancement at leading institutions like Columbia University and the Technion (Israel). Having served as the client on several executive placements, she has a deep perspective on the search process Before joining Storbeck Search, Sara was a senior search consultant with Lindauer Global Search, a Boston-based executive search and talent management company, focusing primarily on the education, nonprofit, and healthcare sectors. She has experience with private and public research universities, healthcare systems, and foundations/nonprofits. In her career Sara has served as the strategic partner to top leadership and has experience creating organizational strategies that support growth in the areas of human resources, talent management, leadership development, and organizational change management, within the nonprofit sector, in support of the mission of advancement. She brings insights into complex organizational and team dynamics and a keen understanding of the impact of identifying, hiring, and developing the right team across a range of disciplines. Her focus has always been to follow her best instincts and utilize critical listening and thinking skills to reach desired outcomes. She approaches executive search with a similar vigor and passion for excellence. Sara is also a small business entrepreneur and owns a custom design jewelry business, Lennon Harper Designs (named after her two daughters). She is married to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Columbia University, has three big dogs, and a farmhouse that was built in 1780. She enjoys DIY renovation and décor projects and commits her extra time to participating in local community activism and social justice projects.
