Even after all this time in the business, finding a successful match still gives me a huge kick. Alongside my research activities, I also like to take on additional tasks. I am responsible for ICT and telephony, for example, as well as our CRM system. I’m also a data protection officer. Confidentiality has always been important here, but the implementation of more stringent GDPR guidelines has made it all the more relevant. Sometimes I have to be careful not to let my enthusiasm cause me to completely immerse myself in my work. To let off steam I turn to sports, such as hockey, tennis, darts and golf. I find that doing fun things, either with my lovely girlfriend or with close friends, also generates a lot of energy.
