Prior to joining AIMS International’s Singapore office, Chanchal was a senior banking executive and corporate advisor, with more than 30 years of experience across the EU, Malaysia, Russia, Central & Eastern Europe, Hong Kong and India.

Leveraging insights gained across various industries and geographies, he provides organisations a range of services, with a focus on Executive Search and Talent Management solutions.

In his more than two decades as a senior executive at Scotiabank and ABN AMRO, Chanchal was a trusted advisor to large corporate and public sector clients regarding their credit, restructuring and commercial banking needs. He built large teams across multiple geographies, led regional Sales & Marketing initiatives and served on both banks’ Risk & Regulatory boards in the respective countries.

Chanchal also takes an interest in entrepreneurial ventures; he founded an advisory firm focused on growth strategy and capital investments into mid-sized SMEs, and established the first office in South Asia for a U.S.-based career transition and talent development firm.

Chanchal holds degrees in Economics from the University of Calcutta and Strategic Leadership from Oxford University.
