Emily (So) Bain is a principal with over ten years of executive search and recruitment experience, specializing in retail and fashion. Prior to joining True, she worked with two global retained search firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart, in their consumer practice. Most recently, she led in-house talent acquisition for Converse (a division of Nike), across a range of functions. Emily's professional career started in mass and specialty retail, with nearly ten years leading office supplies merchandising at Staples, Inc. Emily holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Connecticut, and she and her family reside in Newton, Massachusetts.
